The Chamber will host a Speed Networking event on Wednesday, March 24 beginning at 4:30 pm at the Entrepreneur Center Michigan City. This is a free event and is designed for members to network in a fast paced, informational setting. You’ll have 45-seconds to present your “commercial” to the group and make business contacts with those who are looking for your service or whose service you are looking to utilize. Pre-registration is necessary. Please RSVP to the Chamber by Monday, March 22.
The Chamber’s Third House Session, co-hosted with the LaPorte Chamber and sponsored by NIPSCO has been cancelled due to the Legislators still being in session. This event will be re-scheduled at a later date. We apologize for the inconvenience.

There are months available for your Business After Hours, but they are filling up quickly! The cost to host is $150 and all you have to do is provide the location and light hors d’oeuvres, we’ll send out all of the invitations, promote your event and take the reservations. From now until April 3, Rent-A-Center is having its Spring Egg Fundraiser to support Big Brothers Big Sisters. The funds raised will go directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies nationwide, including the La Porte County agency to match some of the country’s most vulnerable children with mentors. Rent-A-Center will match individual donations dollar for dollar up to $100,000, and guarantee a minimum donation of $250 to each of Big Brothers Big Sisters' agencies.
