Ambassadors
Ambassadors promote membership and encourage participation in Chamber functions, greet members at events, and perform other outreach projects of the Chamber.
This group of distinguished individuals provide information, mentorship and support for new members of the Chamber. Their attendance at Chamber events helps promote the benefits of the organization to potential and new members. Becoming an Ambassador is an opportunity to connect with other individuals on a professional basis. Ambassadors are a crucial link between the Chamber and its members and help foster an active business environment. Ambassadors also provide a valuable conduit for feedback from our members to our staff and Board of Directors.
If you are interested in becoming a Chamber Ambassador, email or call the Chamber at 219.874.6221.
Manufacturers’ Council
The council is a joint effort between the Greater LaPorte and Michigan City Area Chambers. It meets bi-monthly and provides a forum for discussion of common issues and areas for collaboration between manufacturing company executives. Occasionally guest speakers address the council. Membership is open to any Chamber member manufacturer. Contact Chamber President Ann Dahm for details.
Chamber Divisions
To accomplish specific goals of the Chamber to improve the business climate in our community, as well as quality of life overall, the Chamber has standing divisions. They are chaired by a Chamber Board Member and include Community Development, Governmental Affairs, and Marketing and Membership. Interested in getting involved and making a difference? Contact us at 219.874.6221.
